ViSkin: Physics-Based Simulation of Virtual Skin on Personalized Avatars teaser

Overview

ViSkin simulates skin on personalized avatars, accounting for nonlinear stretch, directional stiffness, pre-stretch, and sliding over the body. A representation of Langer lines captures skin orientation, while motion capture data helps estimate pre-stretch. The method is evaluated across body shapes and poses against measured skin motion.
